Next stop was Surfers Paradise. The white sandy beach is lovely and we had great weather during our stay. There are quite a lot of high rise buildings here but it's a popular place for holidaymakers. Went out for drinks, and had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe and a lovely Thai restaurant, avoiding the hostel kitchen.
