Newcastle - a wee DH reunion!

Visit Newcastle for a night oot on the Toon before Hels and I head off on our travels! Hired a people carrier to take 7 of us down from Glasgow and with Saira travelling up by train from London we've made a real effort to reach the Party Capital of the North! Great weekend, lots of laughs and no tears!

Holland

My Mum, Paul & I had a great time in the Netherlands visiting Sharmainne, Arjan & Baby Miah who is gorgeous! Aunt Liz & Uncle John were there too. Great seeing everyone and catching up. We stayed with Arjan's parents Rita & Nelson who are lovely and made us feel very welcome in their home, even if they didn't understand our accents!

6 weeks...

.. and 4 days 'til we jet out of London! The weeks are flying past! Got the serious saving head on now, had another quiet weekend - partly due to saving money and partly due to my cold.

My cousin Sharmainne & her boyfriend Arjan had a beautiful baby girl, Miah, last Saturday. We're flying over to Holland next Sunday to them all. Can't wait to meet her in person, saw loads of photos and she's very cute! I'm sure we'll be doing plenty of celebrating in Holland next week so probably better to rest up now!

Borrowed a book called The Virgin Travellers Handbook. It's a great read, loads of tips & advice of what to take, budgeting, how to keep in touch, etc. Need to photocopy some pages from it this week, so much to do, so little time!
